Canada is widely recognized as one of the most LGBTQ+-inclusive countries in the world. As an LGBTQ+ newcomer, you are arriving in a country where your rights are protected by law, same-sex marriage is legal since 2005, and discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity is prohibited.
LGBTQ+ Rights in Canada
