9-8-8 Suicide Crisis Helpline
Canada's national suicide crisis helpline launched November 30, 2023. Call or text 9-8-8, available 24/7, free, and confidential. Trained crisis responders are available in English and French, with interpretation available in over 100 languages. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.

Dial 310-6789 (no area code needed) from anywhere in BC for emotional support, information, and connection to local crisis and mental health resources. Available 24/7, free, and confidential. For suicide-specific crisis support you can also call or text 9-8-8.
